Overview

English literature is a course of study like Poetry, Prose and Drama. It is the study of a selection of works of literature and critically commenting on them. Graduates in English literature go on to succeed in a very wide range of careers and paths.
English Literature is being taught in this college since its establishment hence it has an experienced and an academically sound faculty which is highly motivated in upgrading qualification for benefiting their students and also for taking up new academic and administrative challenges.

4 years programme with total of 8 semesters including a thesis / research project. One year will have two semesters i.e. Spring and Fall semesters.

Eligibility

  • An individual holding an HSSC certificate from a Pakistani board or any equivalent certificate from any recognized institute with atleast 2nd division or its equivalent grades with English Literature as an Elective subject at intermediate level. Selection shall be Merit Based.
