F G Postgraduate College for Women, Kashmir Road, Rawalpindi cantt has the honor of being one of the most prestigious bastions of education in Rawalpindi since its inception in 1959.It became a degree college in 1963 and introduced M.A Urdu in 1966 and since then has been affiliated with Punjab University, Lahore. Urdu Literature is being taught in this college since its establishment hence it has an experienced and an academically sound faculty which is highly motivated in upgrading qualification for benefiting their students and also for taking up new academic and administrative challenges.
BS Urdu program is a step ahead in producing well-versed, analytical minded, research oriented learners who would have better options of pursuing MS/M. Phil or Ph.D.

Eligibility
- An individual holding an HSSC certificate from a Pakistani board or any equivalent certificate from any recognized institute with atleast 2nd division or its equivalent grades with English Literature as an Elective subject at intermediate level. Selection shall be Merit Based.
