Rules and Regulation

Academic Session

The academic session of the college commences in August each year and ends in June the next year.

Attendance and Leave

  1. 75% attendance is mandatory for eligibility in the FBISE / The University of Punjab Examination.
  2. A student absenting herself from the college without permission / application will be fined @ Rs. 10 per Period.
  3. Leave shall be granted on application duly singed by the parents. It must mention.
    • Roll No & Name of Student
    • Class
    • Section
    • Class Teacher
    • Subjects
    • Time Period
  4. Government Hospital Medical Certificate (MC) should be attached to the application in the following cases:
    • Illness lasting for 5 days or more.
    • Illness immediately after admission and before and after the spring, summer and winter vacations.
    • Illness during exams, and monthly tests.
  5. The name of the student who is irregular in attending the classes will be dropped from the roll after three warnings, even if it is an optional subject.

Tests and Examination

Tests are held at regular intervals every month and at the end of each term. Proper record of the performance of a student is maintained. A student found using unfair means in test disqualified forthwith and will be required to re-appear in all the papers in re-examination, if allowed by the Principal.

PTMs

Parents are expected to share their part of responsibility by remaining in contact with the college administration through PTM whenever called upon by the college.

Discipline Rules

  1. It is obligatory for students to abide by the rules of the college. A student may be dropped from the roll for any of the following reasons:
    • Nonpayment of fees.
    • Irregularity in class, even if it is an optional class or games period.
    • Misbehavior or general misconduct.
    • Lack of academic progress.
    • Failing in three or more subjects in HSSC-I exams.
    • Every member of the faculty has the right to enforce discipline. Disciplinary cases will result in fines.
  2. Misbehavior tarnishes the prestige of the college and disrupts its smooth functioning. A student displaying such behavior may be dropped from the roll or rusticated.
  3. It is the responsibility of all students to keep the college environment clean and tidy. Litter or trash must not be carelessly discarded. Designated waste bins should be used.
  4. Students are advised not to damage college fixtures or furniture, including Venetian blinds. Scribbling, carving, or writing on desks and chairs, wall chalking, and misuse of lab equipment are prohibited. Students must follow the code of conduct during sports and co-curricular activities and demonstrate exemplary behavior, especially when representing the college.
  5. A student wishing to leave the college must apply in writing. The application must be duly signed by her parents or guardian.
  6. No student will be admitted unless she has signed the declaration in the admission form and paid all dues.
  7. Students of HSSC Part-II who have failed in the final exams will not be re-admitted.
  8. Students are not allowed to meet visitors on college premises.
  9. Those found guilty of disobedience or rudeness to the Principal or faculty, or of leaving the college without the Principal’s permission, will be rusticated without prior notice to their parents.
  10. Visitors and parents are not allowed to enter the classrooms.
  11. Mobile phones and cameras are strictly prohibited on campus. Confiscated phones will only be returned to parents upon payment of a fine of Rs. 1000/-.
  12. Parents can meet the Principal between 10:00 AM and 12:00 noon on working days.
  13. Note: Parents are requested not to make representations regarding admission and promotion. The policy laid down by the Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantt/Garrisons) is followed strictly.
  14. It is expected that parents will cooperate with the Principal in maintaining college discipline.
  15. Students are only allowed subject combinations listed in the prospectus.
  16. No personal functions are allowed to be arranged by students on college premises.
  17. Students must possess their college identity card at all times. It may be checked at any time.
  18. Students must keep their registration card, result cards, and other documents safe.
  19. No student is allowed to be a member of any political organization outside the college. If found otherwise, the college reserves the right to strike off her name from the roll.
  20. Students not appearing in Send-up exams will be fined Rs. 100 per paper. The fine for missing a monthly test is Rs. 50 per test.
  21. Students not wearing the prescribed uniform will be fined Rs. 20 per day.
  22. The fine for class absence is Rs. 10 per period.

Parents' Responsibilities

  1. Parents are expected to share their part of responsibility by remaining in contact with the college administration through The college is not bound to communicate to them every incident in which their daughter is involved.
  2. Parents are expected to see the principal whenever called upon to do Reports sent to them should not be treated as a matter of routine since they indicate symptoms which need to be cured before it is too late. It is always advisable to be in touch with the college administration personally or over the telephone, if a misconduct report is received by them.
  3. Parents must inform the college about any change in their postal address, and telephone The college assumes no responsibility if letter sent to them is not delivered or is lost in transit due to change of postal address.
