As part of our commitment to student safety and digital literacy, our college organized a Cyber Crime Awareness Campaign through an interactive multimedia presentation.
The campaign aimed to educate students about the dangers of cybercrime, safe internet practices, and how to protect themselves in the digital world. The session included:
- Informative videos highlighting real-world cybercrime cases
- Animated infographics explaining common threats like phishing, hacking, identity theft, and online scams
- Live demonstrations of secure vs. insecure online behavior
- Expert talk from a cybersecurity professional on how to stay safe online
- Interactive Q&A session to address students’ queries
The presentation emphasized the importance of digital responsibility, recognizing suspicious activities, and reporting cyber threats. Students left the session with greater awareness and practical knowledge to navigate the internet safely.
